Ingredients
½ cup popping corn, fully popped and unpopped kernels removed
60 g butter
½ cup sugar
2 teaspoons honey
Method
1. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
2. Place the butter, honey and sugar in a small saucepan and bring to boil for 4 minutes or
until the mixture is a caramel colour, stirring occasionally. Be careful as the caramel will be
very hot.
3. Pour over the popcorn and mix thoroughly with a wooden spoon.
4. Spread out over the baking tray and leave to cool for approximately 5 minutes. Alternatively,
cool in the fridge for 2 minutes.
5. Break up the popcorn and store in an airtight container.

I have a popcorn maker and can make this recipe in less than 10 minutes, so it is great for a last
minute bring a plate idea and have often made it the same day. This recipe can be made with
popcorn popped in a saucepan, but please note, if you are using oil to pop the corn, the oil can be
tasted.
